TN here. No income tax, property taxes aren’t too bad, sales tax so everyone pays something, mild winters. It’s been good to me since 1986 when I was stationed at Ft Campbell.

Many do, I don’t and I get very little objection. I’m not a little old lady either, so that may smooth things for me (6’4” 265lbs), but I just smile, act normal and walk in like I own the place.
