I think many of them are rotten to the core, but a lot are just brainwashed. They really think there is a Nazi around every street corner. They really think all Trump supporters are sexist racist bigot homophobes. They really believe that redistribution of wealth is the only way to save civilization. Nobody ever taught them otherwise. And with media censorship and narrative pushing, they've never seen evidence to the contrary.
