Anti-secession laws are inherently unamerican. America itself was founded by rebels who seceded from the British Empire. America was founded on the principle that all humans have a right to self-determination. If America itself bans secession because “it would hurt the other states!” then the US is no better than the British Monarchy in 1776. I’m sure the revolution hurt the British but that didn’t stop the founding fathers from seeking liberty.
Should American liberty die we mustn’t allow unjust laws and concerns about an already fallen nation to stop us from acting upon our god given right to self-determination
