After what Firefox wrote, I've been looking for a new browser. Testing Brave right now, works really well but not being able to set my favorite sites on new tab is close to a deal breaker. Any other browsers I ought to check out?

From what I saw on GitHub, they are working on my problem, but there are some minor issues to work through before they can get it to function right. There is a work around, but you still cap at 6 options on the page. I could just use favorites or something else, which I might if the browser grows on me.

i just use edge, if you're on windows already, what's the difference. at least it stopped windows from offering edge all the time.

I downloaded both Brave and Dissenter, they appear to be the same. I'm currently using Dissenter and have ditched FireFox!

Dissenter is a fork of brave, thus yes the same thing

After learning a few days ago that Mozilla was pro-censorship and de-platforming, I decided to uninstall Mozilla Firefox and install Brave. So far I'm pleased, it seems faster and has ad-blocking and tracking turned off by default.

Also learned that the CEO of Firefox that was "cancelled" for his personal and private beliefs is the maker of Brave - so win win. More: https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2016/01/20/copy-new-internet-browser-brave-announced/
