We've all been "busy" for decades blithely consuming the delicious fruits of our forbearer's efforts and sacrifices. Enjoyment is fine, but decadent consumption has its cost. "WE" forgot that you need to work to maintain what you have.

"WE THE PEOPLE" thought that no more work (civic engagement) was required.

This rot set in in our out of control public education system, a long time ago.

It's not to late to fix it.

BUT...

If you have a child in the American Public Indoctrination System, get in there and monitor the Marxist indoctrinators that are poisoning the minds of the young. Get vigorously involved in the PTA. Become a volunteer in any capacity. Sit in and monitor classrooms.

Don't have time???? Don't worry, if you continue to tell yourself that, you'll soon have nothing but time to sit around and think about what a great country America used to be, when it was The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.

I was in 5th grade the first time I recognized that what the teacher was saying was a lie and that he knew it. That was in 1970. I was devastated; never trusted a teacher since. I'm autistic and while writing up my story of autism, I realized that the Marxists had been in control of education since 1967-68. I lived in a very conservative part of the country. It didn't matter. No one saw what was happening. The school system tried to rape my mind. That just made me stronger. I'm an autodidact. I don't need school to teach me anything.

Unfortunately, yes. They realized that they couldn't beat us on the battlefield of arms, nor the battlefield of debate. So, they went to the easiest place to hit us...the teaching universities, where they could mold the minds of a population that is generally enamored with anything "idealistic," regardless of its logical underpinnings. It's not like the teaching degrees of those that go into K-8 "education" are exactly rigorous in terms of the required academic work. (I'm being extremely kind there.) However, what "they" realized is that the K-8 period is a glorious time to infect minds with Marxist thoughts. So, here we are.
