Chuck Norris had to sue the movie studio early in his career because he kept having his movie roles re-written after he signed on - they kept changing his part so he would be the bad guy, and kill the leading lady in every movie, so after a couple movies and after gaining some clout in the industry, he insisted his next contract explicitly prohibit them from re writing his role to make him the bad guy who kills the leading lady. They did it anyway. It's almost funny how badly they fucked him.
