Been working with my folks recently, they actually keep the TV on fake news almost the entire day from 8 to when they crash around midnight. Gotta say it's been rough having to listen to that smarmy shit all day.
Unplug it and ask them about the difference afterwards . They wil love you for it .
Honestly dude I may just do that. Maybe put it on a music channel at least or something it's really sad man. They weren't like this when I was a kid. I can't even talk to them about current events they just drift off. FFS my father taught me to be a cynical person and question everything, he even purports to hate the media but here we are listening to me spill my guts.
I ended up with the 'fear of death ' reason for why they abandoned religion and 'common' sense. Grew up on a farm and saw the honest cycle. Everybody dies . This current cycle of MSM shit makes people forget the can and mostly do have a legacy to think about, not just themselves. Leftism is evil.
