I deleted my FB account for good after I got thrown in FB jail for posting a word-for-word Simpsons quote on a Simpsons meme page I followed. Just absolutely ridiculous for some algorithm to decide what is/isn't ok to say.

Fuck Facebook

Amazon is the only faggot company I use. Everything else has been slowly purged:

-Based gamer since 2012. No EA or Activision. Epic is a recent 2018 edition.

-No professional sports since forever.

-Haven't shopped at Wal Mart in 3 years.

-No facebook, no twitter, no social media. EVER. Have never had one. 35 years old. It can be done. (had myspace for their music platform back in the day though, when you could still html your pages.)

-Deleted my youtube channel with over a million views and 5000 subs.

-Don't use a smart phone. Have one I use as a toy and my 9+ year old flip phone that I make calls and texts from.

-No television

-No costco. No sams. No bulk store of any sort.

-No Lowes.

-No hollywood. Last movie seen in theaters was 1917. Buy all DVD's from vstock near my home, which means Disney, nor any other production or distribution company, gets my money.

-I have 3 identical pairs of shoes that are 7 years old.

The last thing I have to do is move my accounts away from BoA and into a Credit Union.

I really wish there was an Ameican based consumer electronics company. Building a new tower at the moment and it's hell trying to find companies that aren't cucked or owned by chyna. At best you find something from Taiwan or SK.

I've been living close to what this site preaches for nearly a decade. It's time others start to do their part. The sports guys definitely need to stop watching that shit.

From a health standpoint I recommend replacing shoes after 6 to 12 months of wear depending on how much you wear shoes. I replace my "daily drivers" every 6 months. Some more rugged shoes will last longer with sneakers usually lasting the least amount of time (but providing the most comfort and ergonomics while they are in their prime).

Shoes lose their ability to support you and wearing shoes past their lifespan can result in all sorts of musculoskeletal issues including ankle, knee, hip, and back pain in the long run.

I know people will respond to this that they've been wearing the same pair of shoes for 10 years without a problem - I've been a culprit myself. When I started to get older I started to feel it more and more (after a career of light infantry). A new pair of shoes helps with my arthritis in my back and hips and knees. I didn't realize it at first. My wife read somewhere that it helps and she just started buying me new shoes and threw out my old ones. Then I told her my arthritis seemed like it was going away and she told me about the shoes. I've been sold ever since.

Yeah, shoes have always been throwaway purchases to me. I couldn't care less about branding or which company makes them. I try to get 3 pairs of the cheapest shoe I can find whenever I'm buying.

I then just rotate every day.

My lower back kills a lot of the time, so you're probably right. But I can't bring myself to spend more than $20-$30 on a pair of shoes, and especially not every 6 months lol.

I pretty much only wear shoes when at work though. At home it's socks 24/7.

Try it once: Buy yourself a nice pair of either cross trainers or running shoes. It'll change your life. Really make sure you get a solid fit on them - every brand is cut a little differently and everyone's feet are different. Wear them until your back starts hurting again and buy a new pair.. it'll probably be longer than 6 months.

For the most part. Smoke and game. My entertainment is way cheap. Being an overnight worker helps as well.

Once or twice a month the wife and I will do something special, like go to a pinball arcade micro brew, kayaking or try new restaurants... less of the last one recently.

But the whole "going out" thing never appealed to me, especially not every night like some people. Takes way too much energy and time. I'd rather just sit home with my girl, watch or play dumb shit and make fun of the cat.

Gamer? Which games? MMOs? FPS?

Cyberpunk 2077 has swallowed all of my free game time since it launched.

The wife and I play L4D2 and Vermintide 2 (she's kind of picky. does not like strategy or complex games)

Before CP2077 it was a lot of Company of Heroes. I really enjoy strategy games where they let you skirmish against the AI. CoH is the best for it. Supreme Commander is also top of my list for strategy.

What about yourself?

Fallout 4+NV at the moment, heavily modded

Then finishing Witcher 3

Have Cyberpunk on my wishlist but my backlog is large so I will wait until -50% off sometime in the future

Heard that. There's several games that just sit in my steam library waiting to be started. I could never get into the Witcher games, as much as I wanted to. I think the medieval setting was becoming old to me, after me burning through its currency in other games like Skyrim and Chivalry.

Might be better you hold off on CP2077. By the time you get around to buying, it should have some nice patchwork under the hood and be a bit more refined than its shitshow of a release.

I least enjoy the medieval settings, but Witcher 3 just has fantastic writing. I much prefer sci-fi, post apocalyptic or cyberpunk settings. Really looking forward to the Mass Effect trilogy remaster! This will be a day one purchase.

Yes I will probably wait until future Cyberpunk2077 bugfixes and DLCs are wrapped up in a GOTY edition and discounted.

"Really looking forward to the Mass Effect trilogy remaster! This will be a day one purchase."

No idea this was in the works. Nice! ME1 and ME2 are some of the best games I've ever played, from mechanics and gameplay, to writing and story.

Still to this day have not played ME3. I knew they couldn't top ME2. There's just no way they could tell all those personal stories again with such an interesting backdrop. They'd have to go over the top with something dumb, and this feeling was vindicated after the ME3 ending debacle where fans were so pissed they had to change the ending of the game hahaha.

The engine also wasn't updated, which was such a huge positive between ME1 and ME2.
