On the surface, what Pence did was despicable, but I am not going to rush to judgement until I know all of the facts. We are dealing with a very complex operation and some incredibly intelligent men. Just say'n.

Also, he instantly became the most hated man in America by Trump supporters. To be able to endure that would take tremendous courage.

I sincerely hope this theory is true.

Yea I agree, I thought that was a strange statement at the time. I might be wrong, but seems kind of like an art of war strategy to have your right hand man take a "fall" to pretend to be on your enemy's side. I mean, really why is Pence ignoring Pelosi?

There is a whole lot of weirdness with all these situations, such that it feels like everything is cobbled together or masterfully strategized. Whether or not any of this will work, remains to be seen.

I am expecting today's Alamo talk to be a disappointment btw.

Full quote of the President:

All Vice-President Pence has to do is send it back to the States to recertify, and we become president, and you are the happiest people. I just spoke to Mike. I said, “Mike, that doesn’t take courage. What takes courage is to do nothing. That takes courage,” and then we’re stuck with a president who lost the election by a lot, and we have to live with that for four more years. We’re just not going to let that happen.

I had trouble parsing it live during the speech too, but I think Pence might agree in retrospect that what he did (i.e., nothing) was the more hazardous course for him. He seems unlikely to live even a few more days, because the CIA can assassinate him and the media will pin it on Trump supporters and use it to ban all guns.

I think it'd just go back to the corrupt courts and kept in limbo until time runs out (best case scenario). The real courage may be the military hand off knowing the orchestrated reach of the swamp.

"On 11/6 during Trumps speech after his Tweet above, Trump said that Pence acting "doesn’t take courage," but "what takes courage is to do nothing.""

When I heard him say that during the rally I was surprised. Things may not be as they seem. But when are they these days?

I don't think it's even that I believe any magical change is going to happen before the 20th. I don't really think we're going to see the military suddenly round up and shoot congress or anything.

But, IMO, a lot was exposed and a baton has been passed to the American people. Pence way be involved. We have a lot of work to do.

Pence never showed signs of being a traitor and we really don't know his intentions. The guy's political career is finished unless Trump says otherwise. I am okay with that.

In the meantime, people need to understand that the state legislatures technically have all the power we need. Read up on the Convention of States that started organizing in the Obama years. They have made progress since then. But we need to turn our attentions to them. We have the power to term limit these congress critters.

Perhaps there is a deep complex plan, but I don't think Trump would call a million people to DC, many coming clear across the country, many who couldn't afford it, sacrificing income, savings, going into more debt... just so Pence could feign betrayal.

We will never know all the facts and I can't think of a reason to justify what Pence did.

The reason the GoP is so weak is people always waffle on holding them accountable.
