The problem for the MSM is that so much of their narrative just doesn't comport with reality and is self-evidently false. I think a lot of normies know this, they just go along with it because they think it doesn't cost them anything. Experience is the best teacher, and hopefully people will start to become serious again when they start to realize that the truth actually matters.
