He should've built a stronger task force built from based scientists and doctors to fight the media narrative. There were sound doctors and scientists coming out everywhere about it and the nonsense about masks. He just let it ride in the left's hands and that was a terrible mistake. They were worried about polls and optics for the election.

I thought the whole thing about closing down this fall and winter and creating more restrictions is because it was easier to spread Covid during the cold months when everyone is inside. The coldest months are January and February.
