Just sold $6400 worth of Twitter shares! Fuck you JACK!

I hope they burn in hell. I hope MyPillow has a public trading ticker so I can give him my business.

Q. How does that hurt Twitter? Doesn't someone has to buy it from you?
it hurts twitter to not hold their shares. the supply and demand of the stock determines the overall value of the company. if everyone who held shares in twitter sold all their shares it would be worthless. every bit of selling twitter stock and dumping it helps.
additionally, if enough people short Twitter stock now, it creates additional downward pressure.
But do that only if you are sure how it works. Margin calls can be a bitch if it suddenly turns around. Stock exchange is just another form casino.
100%. but be careful. soros or some other bigshot can come in and rescue their asses if they feel its necessary with some big buys or speculative future bets. still the more we can dump and ignore twitter the better.
it's not enough to move the ticker alone, but many people have taken the same action and pressured the price way down. this means that shareholders, including Dorsey, Board members, and the CCP, lose hundreds of millions or more in equity.
when they try to sell, it hurts them. if they hold, it doesn't.
without trump, Twitter is useless to the CCP. they can no longer censor the president, flag his posts, shadowban his followers, or track what they say and do. part of the dip is patriots selling, but how many patriots own $TWTR in the first place? Twitter lost its value, especially to the CCP.
It's nominally logged as a tiny sell action in the spreadsheets of wallstreet. It arguably assists in lowering the value of the stock for a fraction of a second.
Now, if thousands of people set their shares to sell at the same time the stock would show a significant drop, so every person counts.
From over 54 to 48 in the past 5 trading days is more than 10% drop. Twitter makes little income and without trump to attract people for or against him to platform active views have plummeted 30% in last 5 days so from a pure investment perspective Twitter is at best a hold and likely a sell for many investors.
I sold it for a little over 49 per share, which is more than I had bought it for by just a little. I didn't lose anything except for a small broker fee, so I'm okay with it. Even if I sold it at a loss it wouldn't matter to me. Not to sound like a moral-ridden ethic democrat, but I can't in good conscience support a company that has purposely purged a SITTING PRESIDENT, his official governor account's tweets, and most conservative Pundit accounts.
Let them die a slow painful death, a blow to their wallets are what really make them or break them. I'm just one guy, but others are following suit. It's like voting, but you can't Dominion your way to the top for a publicly traded company.
See Enron for a glimpse of what's to come within a year, Twitter will eat a big bowl of Nadlers fecal matter with Nancy's sorbet on top
Yep, but let them take it, I no longer have any allegiance or support from me whatsoever. Their numbers will plummet.
Plus Twitter is down again today. Better for some schmuck that bought it to lose money than you.
It doesn’t really hurt Twitter as this is all secondary market. And no offense to OP but MyPillow going public to support them is embarrassing to read, if he wants to support him buy his product direct lol. MyPillow hopefully never goes public (Lindell prob never would) so he doesn’t have to satisfy the board and shareholders with sjw policies
Yes and no.
He is right about secondary market, twitter isn’t involved in your exchange.
However if 100 shares want to sell at $100 and only 50 shares want to be bought, the price goes down until 100 shares want to be bought. This while on the secondary market still effects twitters market cap. This is their perceived Value. You know when Elon went up in Value like 700% this summer, he didn’t get cash, Tesla’s market cap increased.
More market cap is in theory always good. Means a bigger company, a safer investment etc.
going public just means he has less control over setting policies
