Did you know there’s a new season? After 11 years off, they brought it back, but I have no idea how to find it. The old seasons are on HBO, but the new season was on some start-up streaming service that failed and now it’s gone.
I’m not sure that that’s true. It’s HBO, not Hulu. I’ve been watching it, pretty sure it’s the same as it was when it originally aired on Comedy Central. Same racist jokes and gay jokes as before. If you’re talking about blurred tits, that was never shown in the original airing.
It was on that quibi app or whatever it was called. Each episode was less then ten minutes. Continuity wise it make little sense because the ENTIRE cast returned, even characters that had been killed off.
Over all it was alright I guess. I had the app just to watch it but couldn't justify paying what they were asking even if more seasons were made. 10 episodes less then 10 minutes each that I can only watch on my phone is just not worth what they were asking. And the other content on the app looked like crap.
I think most of it was improv. I'm not 100 precent certain but I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that each scene would have a general outline of what they wanted to happen but not much of a script so that the actors co freely Improve their characters and make it flow very naturally, realistically.
That seems right, it feels improvised if you’re watching for it. Plus most of the people on the show are from various improv groups. The old MTV improv show “The State”, is where a lot of them started.
I’ve seen snippets, but it was airing when I was still in elementary school. It was basically SNL for teenagers. I remember the catchphrase, “I’m going to put my balls in that!” or something like that, lol.
Edit: quick search, it was “I’m gonna dip my balls in it!”.
