It's getting to be more usable, but the servers are still too full. Which makes it very difficult to do things like see notifications or follow people. I think the setup is easier to use than Parler. Not quite as streamlined as Twitter, but they'll get there. The Gab CEO is based and has been trolling jack Dorsey on their Twitter account for days. As soon as it's up and running, I will delete my Twitter account.

Since most of the Twitter accounts I was reading were suspended I’ve started switching my reading over to Gab. Or trying to while they’re crushed by the flood of new users. It’s quite good in the middle of the night, if they can scale up to meet demand it’ll be great.
Not just that but truly a service to humanity. So many absolutely golden tweets.
I hope others have made backups of the backups.

No, I don't. I don't even see an app for Gab on the Google play store.
They were banned from both the App Stores. It’s web browser only for now.

there's no app, they were banned years ago. Here's how you create an "app" on your phone:
Launch “Chrome” app
Open Gab.com
Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap "Add to Home Screen."
You'll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.
Open the Gab app from your home screen.
You can turn on notifications in the browser.

I've been there since 2017. It's good. And dissenter(their commenting system on other sites) would be great if only more people had Gab accounts.
