For 130+ years, Populism = Marxism, usually mixed with muh democracy. Don't swollow S.Bannons bluepill on the "populism" koolaid, he uses it to redpill the bluepilled listeners. He said the other week, that about 1/3rd of his listeners are like Bernie Bros (not former berners but current ones), so it's a way of dealing with that part of his audience. DJT/MAGA and similar movements are NOT populism/populist. Populism means marxism's class warfare, the haves vs the havenots; the 99% vs 1%, etc. It doesn't mean popular, even though like all marxism's vocabulary tricks, when at least 25% of people here the word "populism/populist" they hear "popular or majority" as in muh democracy, as in tyranny of the majority.
