The problem isn't that Gab is making it easier to leave Facebook, it's that Facebook still has your data

If they are trying to kill Parler then doesn't that mean that's the right app to go with?
They're trying to kill Gab, too, for several years now. That's why Gab doesn't have an app (Apple and Google demanded they censor and Gab refused), but Gab was smart and set up their own servers instead of hosting on Amazon Web Services like Parler did.
gab is really slow. It does not always load right. I am using mewe.com
Epik, the host for Gab's domain, is forcing me to validate my identity by making me submit a credit card and photo ID. via. third party.
this is unprecedented. I got turned off, I didn't bother moving my domain to Epik.

Yes gab has their own servers. Epic is the domain hoster though. I am not tech inclined but maybe th above comment has their own website and tried to move it to epic?
Gab moved to Epik because Godaddy kicked them off theirs.
