I would imagine some of this has already been addressed.

Seeing that supposed Parler hack thread going around got me thinking.

This site is probably one of the most hunted rosters on the web for hacking.

Thanks for any useful replies, links to prior posts etc.

What you just said is basically the argument between gun ownership and people who depend on police. It is called EXIF data and if you do a quick search for EXIF eraser you can just avoid that in the first place. It is your safety, YOU should be the one protecting it. Not volunteer mods on a free website.

Yeah I get that is the first level.

But it isn't much to protect users with a website workflow to strip metadata automatically out of safety for the user community.

No doubt there are a lot of not as tech savvy users on this platform.
