Our governor tried to use CARES money to help parents pay for private school and the school district sued. I Paid full price to get my kids in a private school classroom, no problem. But now I see they are giving bonuses to employees of the closed schools. WOW.

in my city, the biggest non-government and non-state source of income comes from real estate tax. Add property tax into the mix. The biggest cash outflow? Public schooling. Renters that don't think that they are paying real estate tax are paying it indirectly through rent as their landlords have to pay this real estate tax.

I would not be surprised if this is similar in other cities across the country. A big chunk of this money feeds the bureaucracy, teachers union, etc.

I know. The problem is lack of accountability. It is disgusting. They don't give a crap about education of our kids. My kids will never see the inside of a public school again.

the dems use the schools as indoctrination. they hate school choice. they hate homeschooling. they hate private schools. tax revolts would help turn that tide
