Cortes wants to abandon free markets and declare Facebook and Twitter as public utilities. That is such an insane position. That's not the conservative position.

The problem is the union of government and social media. Why on Earth would we want to codify it?

The answer is more competition.

The only thing that demands unfettered access are the datalines (ISPs, backbones), as those are usually restricted and limited by location.

It's time conservatives stop acting like pussies and start building our own.
