This last month or so is all very confusing. Sadly, I think I have the simplest explanation. First let me say, Trump is top 3 best presidents ever. No one alive could have done what he's done.
Trump called people to the capital to show how much support their is from the people regarding voter fraud. It was a move to pressure Pence to do the right thing. After it failed, there was nothing left to prove. There was no plan. That was the plan - pressure Pence and show the world that the public is not happy with the fraud. It didn't work. Go home. Deflating, but simple.
The big truth here is, Trump is incredible, but his plan was always to win legally. He is not, and never was ready to instigate a civil war. He never came into the presidency ready to be the reason for thousands or millions of American lives lost. I don't think there's much else to say about it. Trump has done so much. It's up to the people now. Unfortunately, this is a new era. The public doesn't have the stomach for civil war either. We've been too pacified with modern comforts.

I'm not sure how to operate as a Christian under an oppressive regime, but I guess I'll find out... I am not renouncing my faith. Suffering will separate the wheat from the chaff. I just need to learn how to be a better evangelist.
