It's as if a cop comes across a guy aiming his rifle into a crowd, and the cop just turns around to the freaking out crowd: "Look, nobody's been harmed. He hasn't killed anyone yet."

In a few weeks it'll be: "What difference, at this point, does it make?!"

OT but exactly that happened at the manchester bombing in the UK, and the cop got a medal for bravery. She went on a 2 hour lunch break after being told of the suspicious man with a backpack, no joke.
