It's as if a cop comes across a guy aiming his rifle into a crowd, and the cop just turns around to the freaking out crowd: "Look, nobody's been harmed. He hasn't killed anyone yet."

In a few weeks it'll be: "What difference, at this point, does it make?!"

Then, right after the guy blows the head off a kid, the cop says, "Arresting this man won't bring your child back. You should have said something before."

OT but exactly that happened at the manchester bombing in the UK, and the cop got a medal for bravery. She went on a 2 hour lunch break after being told of the suspicious man with a backpack, no joke.
