Let me just say, I have nothing against H1B visa holders, but we should look at taking care of our US Citizens first.
The reason is cause h1b holders can't ask for a raise. They will be cheap labor. If you ask for a raise they can stop supporting your h1b and send you back. Horrible policy
Hiring US Citizens is obviously more expensive, but at least you know they're legit and will know their stuff...saving you more money down the line.
How do so many of them end up becoming citizens?
They keep getting their projects extended long enough to get a greencard. Also enroll in schools, etc.
Or they have to marry
