They get kickbacks from private owned prison complexes. Put that on top of revenue from fines for misdemeanor offenses and the fact that many of them are too stubborn and/or proud to reverse their stance and eat a healthy serving of crow and you've got yourself one gross-ass sundae.

I had a friend who worked his way up to warden at a private prison and we used to talk about how the entire system is totally inflated for profit. Some of the private prisons already have back up plans to become halfway houses or something similar if and when Americans finally push for prison reform so they don’t go under. The money is INSANE through these places.

Yeah I had no idea how much phone calls cost in prisons until I started reading up on these reforms.

This is true. Uniparty only disagrees on who gets the profit. Prison unions are terrible and always against basic reforms. Think teachers unions but with more sexual assault.

Ok, so we need to reform public prisons too, but don’t change the subject from the evils of private prisons. The system is designed to lock up Americans. The tin foil faction on TDW is warning about FEMA camps maybe being built while we know the prison industrial complex is already built and ready.

Sentencing reform and prison reform (both of which we desperately need) will create the capacity that will make the private prison companies beg for stricter punishment for political dissidents.

This Summer the President called for protests who damaged federal property to receive 10 years in prison. The Uni party could stick it to Trump, get rid of their opposition and make their private prison benefactors very happy by just treating the Capitol protestors how Trump suggested the BLM protestors be treated.

There was a PA Judge who sent first-time offender teens to Private Prison that was giving him a kickback.

Some kid who stole a 60 cents of nickels and dimes, first time offender, from an unlocked car got 6 months and was killed in one, which is how they unraveled the thing. And the Judge had a lot of accomplises.
