A lot of you out there are new to the idea of Faith. Believing in something, bigger and stronger than you, even when everything else screams against it. It seems like hopium.

For those of us familiar with Faith and what it means to hold it in the face of persecution, this is nothing new. Being told what you believe is wrong and why you believe is stupid. We have heard it before.

God has spoken. His word is iron clad. When you have faith the size of a grain of a mustard seed, you can move mountains. I grew up on these words.

For some of us the struggle to believe is all too real. I, myself, have been facing a personal crisis of faith. I grew up Christian and had moved away from all of that over the years. Honestly, I'm not even sure why I'm writing this up, who am I to speak on faith when I walked away from God for so long? But here I am.

All of this has put me into a place where I feel like I have to believe in the greater power. That the divine is at work. That God's hand is in play. That we will see what can only be described as a miracle.

For those of you that need the receipts. When Trump gets 4 more years, you had better bet your ass that it was God's hand in events to turn the tide and nothing else. God works miracles and a way that it leaves NO DOUBT that it was by His hand. That is what I believe this is.

TLDR;

Hopium is Faith. Sometimes faith is hard to hold onto. When God comes through for us, know that it was HIM.

Faith in God is one thing

Faith that Trump is going to still be president? That's something else entirely.

Faith that God will do exactly what you want him to do? That's not faith.

Faith that whatever happens (whether you like it or not) is part of God's plan for us - that's something you can have faith in.

Don't get so married to the idea that Trump is going to win, that you can't deal with the fact that he lost. That's just dangerous for your mental health.

If you think I'm against you, I'm not. I would love another four years of Trump and if that happens I'll be as happy as anyone here. But things don't look good, whichever way you cut it. No amount of believing anything will make it so - it will just make you delusional.

Even without Trump as President for the next four years, we have come a long way. This community would never have happened without Trump. We would never have learned the depth of the corruption. We would never have been so motivated to make America great again.

A lot of us here are just waiting for everything to be over so that we can start working together again towards a better future.

I'm believing in what I trust has been promised by God. I don't know what that means. I have no faith in man.

The right thing will happen. All I'm saying here is that I have faith God wants Trump at the helm and that God told people that Trump would be. If that's wrong, I will reassess everything.

That's all I got. If the answer isn't a 2nd term, then I still have faith that divine things will happen.

I can cope without Trump. That's not at all what my post was meant to be about.

Faith is having trust in God despite adversity and all signs pointing away.

Things looked pretty bad when Jesus was on the cross, too.
