Stop by the court house for your marriage license. Start a business? Sorry you need permission from big brother (oops meant a license). Want to die? Don’t forgot the estate tax. 30% of jobs require a license. Property taxes are particularly egregious as you could live somewhere your whole life and lose it because you can’t pay the tax on the inflated valuation. Violation of equal protection if you ask me.
