I don't believe she would knowingly charge a gun. The shooter was also off to the side in an alcove. But I agree that she should have expected deadly force might be on the other side. She was prior military and it's common knowledge that you don't fuck around in high security areas like submarine bases.

It still reeks of being a setup though. Antifa was obviously all over and judging from the way the congress member leisurely strolled out of the Chamber moments before she was shot, none of them believed they were in actual danger. Bad shoot, fucked up people in power calling the shots.

Antifa was definitely there with the intention of egging on MAGA. MAGA's fault for following them into the building though. Had I been there I would have noped the fuck out of there when I saw ppl in all black getting let through the barriers by the police.

I had considered going for the rally, but decided against it specifically because I thought some shit like that might go down. And agree it was chaotic, but if you can't operate correctly in a high stress environment you shouldn't be there in the first place. Every ounce of training I have screams that the shooter wasn't in danger when he shot her. If that situation happened overseas to a citizen of another country that would 100% be labeled a war crime.
