I would not be suprised if Kamala together with the leftist fringe pull it off without objections from anyone on their side of the aisle. Scary part it, love him or hate him Scott Adams had the just of this mapped out when Kamala dropped out.

...The only sliver of good news is, they'll only have maybe a year, tops. Then they have to play nice again, or get kicked in the midterms (they might be able to cheat in lefty stronghold districts, but the 'moderate' dems who showed up in 2018 will get slaughtered, hard. They'll try to pretend to be moderate anyway, but...)
