I was able to crush the argument that the soviet union was a morally accepted agreement of labour oriented states with "So why did Russia march tanks and troops into Czechoslovakia, Hungary, and Poland and slaughter civilians for merely not voting the communists into power or say "bye"?"

Also people need to start focusing on why the Left has been so successful for so long and learn a few lessons themselves. Trouble with the Right is they're too easily swayed by fear to remain home, do nothing and simply turn the other cheek.
