If we’d lost on the 6th but Ted Cruz and others stood up and gave their best arguments for 24 hours and provided all of the evidence at least we’d have had that. Instead we got nothing. Nothing. Because SOME people decided what was being done wasn’t enough.
I can’t speak for what Ted Cruz had, but part of me suspects that Pence prior to the capitol incident would’ve found punting back to the state legislators for 10 days amenable.
