That said, in my household we're getting ready for the dark winter.
We bought a large chest freezer and have stocked it with a lot of foodstuffs we expect to go into shortages, which we replenish immediately upon consumption.
We've been investing in lead and brass rather heavily, although it seems there's basically no more to buy anymore so that has ground to a halt. Storage is decentralized.
We're getting ready to relocate to a more reliably pro-liberty area. Probably Texas. Sold our house and are looking at parcels of land we can buy outright, then renting somewhere cheap while we get everything moved and start setting up a self-sufficient homestead. We'll build everything ourselves if need be.
Of course, we've got plenty of paper products and bottled water on hand.
We got a trial run last year of what will happen when shit starts to fall apart. Look at what disappeared and/or what got a lot more expensive. Load up on that stuff at a bare minimum.
And of course, get rid of any cash holdings you may have. Buy anything appreciable, preferably something portable. Crypto is good, but don't be stupid about it.
