It would make more sense if you knew the truth behind Jesus. Jesus was an advanced being who temporarily incarnated as a human so that he could give his philosophy of love to the Earth. It's not his fault his teachings were perverted and then turned around against him and used as a control system in the form of religion.

That said, there is one thing I want to make known. When Jesus said there would be a second coming, he didn't literally mean that his zombie corpse would come back from the dead and lead again. He simply meant that there would be another like him who would one day incarnate amongst humanity, a man like him who would have similar powers and who would also become a Leader. That man could be literally anyone. He might be here even now. Who knows. We do need a new leader though, and maybe a new Jesus-like individual with telepathic powers is what we need to lead us to a new future for mankind.

I know the truth behind Jesus. He told us who he was:

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. John 14:6

I and the Father are one. John 10:30

Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” John 8:58

It is Jesus coming back, not one "like" Him:

And on His robe and on His thigh He has aa name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” Revelation 19:16

He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. Revelation 19:13

What does "The Word of God" mean:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

And there is no corpse of Jesus, because He is alive:

and as the women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why are you seeking the living One among the dead? Luke 24:5

Then He said to Thomas, “Place your finger here, and see My hands; and take your hand and put it into My side; and do not continue in disbelief, but be a believer.” John 20:27

It sounds to me like you're referring to the anti-christ and you may not even know it. The anti-christ will seem like THE Christ, the world will see him as the savior of mankind who will bring us all together for the greater-good but his true agenda is sinister. And he is definitely here now, just waiting for the world to finish setting the stage up for him. Do not be deceived, my friend. The Bible doesn't say Jesus will come back as a zombie corpse and lead the earth, He rose from the dead and ascended to heaven. When it's time for His second coming, He will descend from His throne again to establish His kingdom after destroying this world. This is the truth about Jesus.

And the anti-christ is.....Biden?

1
Samurai-Doom-Guy 1 point ago +1 / -0

I highly doubt Biden is the anti-christ. The Antichrist will have no desire for women, nor will he have any regard for God and the world will love him. I think those things alone disqualify both Biden and Trump from being the antichrist. I dont think we will know until he makes his appearance.

No one knows the time or the hour. The end may not come for centuries for all we know. In the meantime, we may all have to suffer under communist rule.

WeThePedeple [S] 10 points ago +10 / -0

That is true, but Jesus never said that living in this world would be easy. If you keep trusting in Him, you will be at peace, even during hard times.

2
EricTX 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes, but nothing else is left to be fulfilled in prophecy for it to happen. Plus we are getting closer to a one world government that we ever have been. Still don't know when it will happen, but God gave us a good amount of knowledge of the final days so that we would know the signs of the times.

Doesn't the temple in Jerusalem need to rebuilt first?

1
EricTX 1 point ago +1 / -0 (edited)

Not really claiming to be much of and eschatology expert, but most dispensationalists think it is during the tribulation.

Daniel 9:27 (NASB) “And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate.”

The “week” is Daniels 70th week, which is the 7 year tribulation period, halfway through, the “Obama-nation that causes desolation” (I’m only kidding) will break the covenant with Israel. All it seems to says is “he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering”, meaning there has to be a temple there. 3.5 years is enough time to build one. These are Jewish calendar years, BTW.

So chances are the ones seeing the news about the temple being rebuilt, well, I guess they were left behind. I tried to tell them: https://thedonald.win/p/11RhhkVzEL/got-some-info-from-a-massive-dum/

“On the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him. And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not. Malachi 3:17‭-‬18 NIV

Constantly referring to this all the time is why people don't DO ANYTHING. If you live your life like it doesn't matter, then you are a victim of fate. Stop it. I believe in Jesus as much as you, but I realize that sitting around accepting every bad thing happening to me and not fighting it because I"m waiting for the second coming is not why I'm here.

EricTX 2 points ago +2 / -0

Agreed. While we should "trust the plan" of Christ's return, does not mean we sit by and do nothing. This concept has corrupted the American church and the biggest reason we are where we are at. The Bible mentions a similar problem with some Thessalonians not doing anything because the thought Jesus was returning soon:

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and sisters, to keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not live according to the teaching you received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you to imitate. For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” 2 Thessalonians 3:6-10

I would recommend that every Bible believing Christian watch this series of lectures from a Christian law school about many of the works from the protestant reformation that our founders were well versed in. We have lost this knowledge our 200+ years of prosperity:

Yea but do you follow Jesus?? He isn’t just gonna rapture you because you’re a “good person”.

I’m not trying to be mean, I don’t want anyone left behind.

On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers'"

(Matthew 7:21-23)

Believe in him, yes; that’s essential, but even the demons believe and they shudder.

You need to repent of evil. That’s what got us here in the first place. Read God’s word, start in the four gospels. Learn who he is and start your relationship with him in obedience.

Saved by faith alone, through grace alone by Christ alone. Seek him while he can be found.

God bless you all.

I agree with 99% of what you said, and it might be 100%.

The words used for repentance in the Bible is usually not exactly what people think the English translation is: https://www.gotquestions.org/repentance-change-mind-turn-sin.html

We just have an eternal hope that even if we are not successful, Christ will be.

Please everyone, I implore you. Pray for us. Pray for us all. Pray that the people behind this develop a conscience and don't follow through with the worst. Pray that someone can expose what's happening to everyone. Pray that if none of that happens we find a way to pull through anyway. Pray that there's some good left in some of the people in power to save us.

Pray for a miracle, and pray to survive if we can't get one. Please everyone. Regardless of if you think it'll work, or if it's necessary, please pray for us all.

“Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge? Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me. “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy? Job 38:2-7 (NIV)

Anyone going to be surprised if you hear deafening trumpets coming from the skys?

1
EricTX 1 point ago +1 / -0

I will rejoice!

For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 (ESV)

Whoa dude! You read revelations? It’s not so pleasant; when “Jesus takes you away” it is because you and you family were murdered. You job is to do all you can to prevent the apocalypse. Maybe do a re-read.

1
EricTX 1 point ago +1 / -0

Huh?

Your job is to save as many as you can before the apocalypse. It is going to happen because God said it will happen, and the time was set long before you or I were ever born. We are not God, we have no power to prevent it.

The Lord helps those who help themselves.

This is not church. There are people who are not Christians.

12
JMaN 12 points ago +14 / -2

Yeah... Sorry but this "the Lord helps those who help themselves" is not correct or biblical. We are completely at His mercy. It clearly says He loved us while we were still sinners.

I believe the Majority of Republicans are Christians, and in turn, this can be considered Church. Praise thy name, thy Will be done!

1
EricTX 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well, just because you attend church does not mean you are a Christian. Joel Osteen's church comes to mind. Also many of the churches that are starting to get infested with CRT and incorporate it into the Gospel tells me that the spirit is not in them.

1
NotAPuma 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm sorry, but what? I think attending a Church does make you a Christian. Attending it on it's own of course doesn't, but it can be reasonably assumed that you also pray, read the bible (sometimes), and such.

1
EricTX 1 point ago +1 / -0

Does attending a football game make you a football player? I grew up in a denomination that I can pretty much tell with certainty that most are not saved. Just like the synagogues were full of pharisees that did not know God, there are many churches full of people that do not know Jesus.

Also, praying and reading the bible does not make you a Christian (but most people in church never pick up a bible anyway). Those actions, without faith, are nothing more than works. Don't forget, the pharisees pretended to be ultra religious and Jesus call them hypocrites and white washed tombs.

1
NotAPuma 1 point ago +1 / -0

If you play Football, wear Football Player Gear, and Train for Football, a Reasonable Person would guess, you're a Football Player.

Please, fuck off. You're clearly here to either Troll, or aren't a Christian and I will be unlikely to change your mind about Religion in the first place.
