We let them brainwash a generation or more of our children into hating themselves and their country, our most cherished possession, and we did nothing.
We let them call us terrorists, racists, homophobes and so forth and we cowered in fear of retribution for speaking out.
We let them burn our cities and our homes, still we did nothing.
We let them isolate us from our families, our friends, and our churches.
We let them destroy our businesses and take away our jobs.
I'm sure that many of you, like me, were busy working to support and raise a family. But we allowed them to do these things to us. You figured you would vote for change. Then in the ultimate betrayal, they stole your vote.
Now, we've let them silence us; we watch in horror as they steal our voice. Typing away in our echo chambers just hoping that someone will hear us and agree with our righteousness. They won't.
We haven't actively stood up for our freedom, because it was too inconvenient. Perhaps we don't deserve to be free.
My hope is that we will no longer be complacent and not take our rights for granted. We must cherish our freedom and liberties.
It’s because most people wouldn’t even know how to feed themselves, or their family, if the power went out and grocery stores were empty for a month. We rely on the system way too much. Most people here have way too much to lose if the system gets torn down. Get out of debt Grow a garden Acquire transferable skills Get to know your neighbors Fear God only
