No. Brave doesn't "phone home" to Google the way Chrome does.

Brave is a de-googlized Chromium: the lines of source code that connect to Google's servers and/or use Google's services are removed before adding Brave's features.

Gab Dissenter Browser is a Brave fork without the bloat and has a genius comment overlay.
