Whatever you do and however you do it, it's time to find a way to pay less toward a government that hates you, doesn't represent you, and will kill you first chance it gets.
Do whatever you can to minimize your taxable income this year

I won't bite my tongue when Dems complain about paying. I don't think I will be popular any more.
I expect to hear lots of lefties complaining over the upcoming tax hikes. We're gonna need something to give us a good laugh.
How can I minimize? Just stop working?
make full claims lies on 1040, dont pay when time comes, really simple
how about pay none
You need to do your research on what will work best for you and your family.
Some families are becoming a single income household. So (usually) the wife is paying zero taxes, and the husband gets a big increase in his W-4 exemptions!!
There are many legal ways. But the first step is to find out what your options are. One thing though, if you are getting nice tax refunds, you are withholding too much and need to increase your allowances on your W-4.
You mean quit my job?
Well, if they're going to tax you at 60-70%.... Honestly, we've been getting our house ready to list. Rented a storage unit. We'll wait & watch what the economy does before we buy again. We had hoped to do it before the election, but life kept us too busy. I think quitting a job depends on your age. As for us, we have a few more year before we'll be ready. If anything changes as far as how much they tax us. That might happen sooner.
You'll be happy to see how much property values are up.
Yes, thanks to President Trump's economy. We'd like to sell high and buy low for a change. We took a hit in 2007. We watched our home value take a nose dive as we were relocating to a different state for work. Don't want that to happen again. Praying we can sell before anything changes in regards to property values.
