All those people who died there that day, those who are going to have their lives ruined, for what? What was the fucking plan? All in vanity. If nothing was going to change or be done about anything whether they had showed up or not, why even bother at all? I am not going to say she isn't responsible for her personal decisions, and on a whim it was all over. In the end a ton of bad decisions were made and it was all set up to fail. But maybe she was prepared to make that choice (having selflessly served before), maybe she would have preferred her heroes death than having to live to see this shit or die the thousand deaths of a coward.
