Reading posts these last few days has me thinking that a lot of people are confused and scared about where we are right now. I want to offer a narrative analogy to clear things up.

Imagine a grotesque eldritch horror that has been feeding on the innocent for decades. This horror wears a suit of human flesh to avoid attention and make the feeding eaiser. Its a pretty standard trope

Well, this horror is the establishment. It is the horror Trump has been fighting against.

And he hit the monster hard enough, brought so much pain that its fleshy suit had to come off for the counter punch.

And it hit back hard and it hurts. It is, after all, an eldritch monster that has been feeding on us for decades.

So here we are: bloodied and scared, because even though we kind of knew about the children sacrificed, we never really imagined the monster to be quite as bad as it is, with its tendrils reaching so wide and deep. But here's the thing, the monster was always this bad. The only reason you lacked fear is through ignorance.

The mask is gone, the ignorance is gone, the monster is angry but also hurt. So even if you are afraid, you're now in a much better position to fight it.

It won't be an easy fight and there is no guarantee that we'll win, but it is way easier now than it was 4 years ago.

But what does that fight look like? I see a wide variety of ideas and approaches, but I haven't seen one that is well-thought out.

There's two broad ways of going about it:

  1. You do like the leftists do and spend the effort organizing into a coherent force on all levels, including and especially culture, arts, media and schools despite the massive opposition of superior leftist forces in these places, Starting locally in places where the progressive monster isn't too strong yet.

  2. You burn everything down and try to start over. This won't work because the people left over after the fire will still be part of that same monster
