I'm not sure he really tried to do anything about the Clintons. I've never seen proof of it. Maybe that was a motivating factor in his dealings with the F.B.I., but it was never stated. At least not after his election. I could be wrong. I just don't remember it.

He didnt do anything about the Clintons. He even stated on t.v. that he didnt want to lock Hillary after the interviewer asked about the people at the rallies chanting "lock her up". Trump didnt try to drain the swamp. He surrounded himself with it.
