My wife has relatives in Idaho, but she reports that although it's mostly red right now, it's becoming polluted with wealthy kalifornia transplants that are slowly making it blue.
I'd like to retire in a red state to a house near a river or a lake and be surrounded by nature. A town where I could drive a few miles to the grocery store, or to the diner where I can get Flo's famous sweet tea, or to a trail head for a nice challenging hike. I'd learn how to fish and hone my home defense skills, too. I'd watch the snow fall in winter, and go swimming in the summer.
I thought this would be 20 years down the line...but with telecommuting being viable, I may not have to wait that long!

Sad thing is the transplants are what screw everything up, everywhere. They're fleeing the garbage they voted for, to vote in the same garbage that caused them to flee.
everyone needs to primary spineless GOP politician RINO traitors. They are worse than democrats because at least the Dems are honest about their true colors, unlike these traitors. Vote them out!

Wyoming, is geographically beautiful. Politically, it’s a mess. It’s RINOs. Democrats don’t win there, so they run as Republicans.
