I didn't hear his remarks. If he was cracking a joke like "Russia if you're listening" then I'm against his getting fired.
Harming someone for their opinion or free speech is one thing, and I'm against that.
If a broadcaster is using his NPR platform to reach millions of people and tell them to go and harm us and take our kids off to camps, I have no problem with "getting up early to go shoot him first" (rhetorically speaking).
I don't really agree with you that we're a long way from "guy opens up a camp and comes to your door for your kids". Frankly a lot of the schools are basically socialist re-education prisons these days.
