No phone number required. Very secure. You are given a 25 digit code which becomes your ID. You can then give to people and they contact you through that code. YOU GIVE CONSENT IN ORDER TO BE CONTACTED. I will be making a post once a day, every day to use session instead of other messaging services.

It appears to be a modified version (fork) of Signal.
