I know i will get blowback from football / patriots fans, but im baffled as to why Bill Billecheck was offered one, especially during the final days of Trump's first term.

Call me crazy but shouldnt the medal be given to people that actually do things that help people out, such as brain and heart surgeons?

What does holding a clip board and telling players how to move around a football field, warrant receiving such a high accolade?

The same goes for Tiger Woods. I respect what both of them have done in the sporting arena, but arent there sports awards that pay tribute to the accomplishments of athletes, coaches etc?

Why not give the Medal Of Freedom to Gen Michael Flynn?? What's even more insulting is that he has turned down the award. What a pompus asshole to turn down such an award.

Instead of giving the award to actors, musicians and athletes (both Trump and obama have done this), why not give the award to doctors, police, soldiers, and firefighters??
