By that logic, they can't lose anyway. Either you submit and they win, or you fight back and they win. MAYBE, in the latter case, though of course it's a long shot. But if you're already damned to lose anyway, might as well take a few of them down with you - That's the conclusion many will come to, I guess.

Does it even matter anymore, anyway? Look at the plumbers and housewives who strolled through the Capitol and made prank calls from Pelosi's office. They get treated as actual terrorists and "insurrectionists", they get treated as if they literally tried to lynch half of Congress. So what exactly is the incentive to NOT try to do that in earnest? They will brand you terrorist and insurrectionist ANYWAY and they will take your guns ANYWAY and they will destroy your life ANYWAY. There is literally nobody stopping them, they control the press, they control the internet, so they control the mainstream narrative.

They do not need excuses, they do not need an actual legit occasion. It's nice for them if they have it, but they will implement their tyranny ANYWAY.
