ok you drone. i support the dude, but im not getting on my knees for him. enjoy that. people are fucking at their wits end man. you seem to forget the week before that, they paid us 600 for locking us down for a year, took BILLIONS, and laughed in our fucking faces AGAIN. we are starving, homeless, wealth and jobs stripped away, all while trying to support a family. its fucking disgusting that none of you realize the pain people are in becuase of these tyrants. and after all that, all you got was a few broken windows from us, and then they helped pick all the trash up inside the building, because we are civil people. i believe that will be our undoing. glad you're comfortable enough to just sit around and bow to your leader though.
Such a good point. Many who stormed the Capitol probably saw it more as an opportunity to let out some anger at all these tyrants that have shut down their way to make a living and then also spat in their faces by the absolute lack of financial support from the very government that forced them to need financial support.
Not only is everyone fuming because they realize their vote didn’t matter and probably hasn’t mattered in quite a while, they are also fuming because of what the government has done to this country and its economy over the last year.
They are lucky. If Trump ACTUALLY called for a storming of the Capital, it would still be occupied and it likely would have been far more violent. IMO if Trump truly wanted a coup, he could have simply said the word that day and succeeded.
We would then have faced a situation where the government / military leaders would be forced to either fire upon and kill American Citizens or let them stay there until they at least did a 10-day audit.
Instead, it was actually mostly peaceful, nobody pulled any guns on the cops (despite the fact many were armed in the crowd. I know because I was there and saw tons of people openly saying so) and they all left within a few hours.
Yeah, some “Coup” attempt that was... gimme a break.
