I disagree with the second half. Leftism has been a slow burning plague until Trump showed up and kicked 'em where it hurts. Now they're mad, yelling, and blowing every tool they have. Trump's broken their back by making them overextend themselves, and in the process made them visible to MILLIONS more. Accelerated their plan to the point it can't finish the way they intended. Their own end has been carved out of their impending success.
