There's a difference between honoring soldiers who were conscripted under pain of death and who could not desert for fear of being hunted down and executed AND a statue glorifying white supremacy in the south.
Why are we defending that and how can I say we aren't racist white supremacists when people are showing up armed and armored ready to defend "muh heritage" against a bunch of poor deranged BLM protesters/rioters. Why the fuck are we not going out and tearing down that shit.
