edit2: you think they liked even freaking Merkel agreeing that censoring Trump was too much? they didn't, they boiled with anger to that. They will promote all kind of infuriating laws and amendments and ideas right now, and none of them will pass, they KNOW it, they count on you not knowing it. They want to impeach, censor, and deplatform Trump and be praised for that, and they can only get away if we give them a reason to say "see, we told you they were freaking domestic terrorists".

In a matter of years, with way less numbers than Trump, he went to create his own party, he won a few seats in congress, and then he ruthlessly won the elections, both houses, and beat to shit both the opposing party and his own previous party. LOOK. IT. UP. They don't want a "Morena" in the US. And they know they only have two years until they lose their majority. They don't want a Trump Party that they don't have friends inside and isn't controlled opposition.
