If we all move to TX who will do all the farming, food production and the majority of other manufacturing jobs?
Will it be like in risk where you retreat your whole army to one tile then win in your last turn?

The above has a neat map showing the a radius from Texas, the length of which is the length of Texas(longest point to point distance).
It is pretty big.
An extra 75 million would be a 250% increase in population with a density of 409 per sq mi.,just below Guatemala's density. There are 55 independent countries more dense than that.
Also, remember that nearby Louisiana and Oklahoma are also pretty based.
Alaska is too, I think, though they keep electing Murkowski.
