Actually, Trump did make the system semi-legit for four years.
He actually did stuff. He enacted actual policies. Instead of getting stuff stuck in committee or stymied by a filibuster. He found ways to work around the roadblocks and get his stuff done. Frankly, I think that's the reason the career politicians on both sides hate him so much: he makes them look like useless idiots.
True, he didn't accomplish everything I wanted him to, but he did far more than any previous candidate except (possibly) Reagan. That he was able to beat the messed-up system is a feat for the Ages.
