This. I've been saying this since I first joined the Trump train in 2015! Both US and Russia have corruption, propaganda, rigged elections...but Russia is better because at least they all know it. Here half the population (or maybe a bit less now) is brainwashed and thinks the US has fair elections, no propaganda and is superior. Much more dangerous. Plus Russia plays none of the self destructing woke games or gives billions to foreign countries for useless corrupt programs

You can't drink the water in Uganda, because 21 years into the new millennium they still haven't mastered public sanitation. They can't keep the electricity on. Internet runs at 1/28 the speed of America, but they charge you $500 a month for the privilege. Roads are barely in existence. Mostly pothole filled muddy tracks that beat your car and your body. The mosquitoes can kill you here, with malaria. Typhoid is still a thing. The police are horribly crooked and will pull you over for Driving While White to try and get a bribe out of you. There is no rule of law. Or personal property. And the people believe that lying and getting away with it is a sign of cleverness. Everybody is stealing or cheating from everybody else. It is a nasty, dirty, landlocked 3rd world country.
Who pissed in your Cheerios? Most people there live independently and on the land. Like 90% of the country is agricultural. Get a fucking tank to filter water, have solar panels, take your antimalarial and live your life. The police are a non factor if you grease their palms. That applies to everyone which is better than being harassed and shot for the smallest thing. Sure infrastructure could be improved but the appeal of a lot of 3rd world countries is you will literally be left the fuck alone and can manage your own affairs.

Same with a lot of people, not just abroad. The most honest people I have worked with thus far in my career are Indians. They seem to be very authentic people and I very much like them. I wont speak on the rest, but there are two more major groups of immigrants from specific countries that are dishonest as fuck and have zero qualms about it. No honor, no integrity.
